Collapsed Arches

What are Collapsed Arches

Collapsed arches in adults is a condition where the arch of the foot collapses, causing all (or most) of the sole of the foot to be in contact with the ground.

The abnormal biomechanics of collapsed arches can cause symptoms such as lower back, hip, knee, ankle and/or arch pain, and can lead to the development of foot arthritis

  • A tight Achilles tendon

  • Pregnancy
  • Obesity
